“Where horsepower meets conversation”

Let’s talk honestly for a minute.

Season 1 of Full Throttle Talk taught me a lot — about the audience, about the rhythm of great automotive conversations, and about what actually makes a show feel alive.

At some point during the season, I realized something simple but important:

👉 The episodes people loved most were the ones where nobody knew exactly where the conversation would go.

Those were the moments when curiosity took over — when the conversation wasn’t confined to one lane, one era, or one brand, but opened up into the broader world of car culture.

And that realization is what’s driving our next chapter.

First — Respect Where We Started

Before anything else, I want to say this clearly: Season 1 wouldn’t exist without the hosts who helped launch it, and I have real respect for the passion and knowledge they brought to the table. Many of those conversations were genuinely fun, insightful, and rooted in deep enthusiast experience.

But as the show evolved, something became clear — both from audience feedback and from my own experience behind the mic.

The energy was highest when we were exploring.

And it slowed when we stayed too long in familiar territory.

Yes, I Love Old Porsches (Probably Too Much)

Anyone who knows me understands my deep appreciation for older Porsches. That passion isn’t going anywhere.

But even I found myself thinking at times:

“Okay… we’ve visited this garage before.”

We naturally drifted into a lot of Porsche-centric discussion — which is great — but over time it started to feel narrower than what the audience wanted and what the show could become.

The takeaway wasn’t that those conversations were wrong.

It was that Full Throttle Talk needs range.

Car culture is bigger than any single brand, era, or specialty — and the show should reflect that.

The New Philosophy

Moving forward, the guiding principle for Full Throttle Talk is simple:

👉 Depth in your lane is great. Curiosity outside your lane is what makes a great host.

This isn’t about knowing everything.

It’s about being endlessly curious.

The best hosts aren’t just experts — they’re explorers. They lean into topics that surprise them. They ask questions instead of shutting down conversations outside their comfort zone. They bring energy, personality, and openness to wherever the discussion goes.

And honestly, that’s when the show feels most alive.

The Energy Shift

If you’ve been listening since the beginning, you’re going to notice the difference right away.

The goal isn’t to abandon deep enthusiast discussion — it’s to expand it.

Classic cars. Modern performance. Unexpected builds. Industry shifts. Driving experiences. Culture. Technology. Opinions. Debate.

If it has wheels and a story, it’s fair game.

Season 1 was the warm-up lap.

Now we open it up.

Meet the First New Host

I’m excited to share that we’ve filled one of the new host positions with someone who perfectly captures this next phase — a true enthusiast with range, curiosity, and a perspective that I think is going to surprise a lot of you in the best way.

You’ll start getting to know them soon through the newsletter and upcoming episodes.

We’re Looking for One More

And yes — we’re still searching for another co-host.

Not just someone knowledgeable.

Someone curious.

Someone who brings strong opinions but stays open-minded.

Someone who gets excited about cars they don’t fully understand yet — because that’s where the best conversations start.

If that sounds like you (or someone you know), reach out.

What Hasn’t Changed

At its core, Full Throttle Talk is still about real conversations between people who genuinely love cars.

That part stays the same.

What’s evolving is the energy — more curiosity, more range, more unpredictability, and honestly… more fun.

Let’s go full throttle.
